The KeyBank Vermont City Marathon & Relay features two relay events, both of which run concurrent with the full Marathon. Runners in all events run alongside each other.
In the 2-Person Relay, two runners evenly split the Marathon distance of 26.2 miles. The 3-5 Person Relay allows 3, 4, or 5-member teams to divide the full Marathon distance into smaller segments, ranging from 3.1 to 6.5 miles.
Entry into both the 2-person and 3-5 person relays are managed by a lottery. 650 2-person and 650 3-5 person relay teams are randomly selected from the lottery entries submitted between January 1 and January 31 each year. Team Captains selected in the lottery register their team members online between February and early May.

Race Packet Pick-Up
Packet Pick-Up Policy
Each relay team must designate ONE registered team member to pick up the whole team's bibs/ChronoTrack Tag, race packet, and t-shirts. Photo ID is required, NO exceptions.
T-Shirt sizes are not guaranteed; please arrive early for best selection.
Times and Locations
Runners are encouraged to pick up their bibs at the EXPO on Friday or Saturday.
Pick-up Location in the Expo
First, travel upstairs and locate your bib number on the large display boards then proceed to packet pickup. After bib pickup is complete, continue downstairs to pick up your race shirt.
